Enzymes are Bio Catalysts which increases the Bio chemical reaction within the cell without undergoing any change. Enzymes accelerate chemical reactions of the living cells for certain nutrients from the feed stuffs to become available to the organs and tissues.
Feed enzymes function by enhancing the digestibility of nutrients in situ.
Enzymes are involved in all anabolic and catabolic pathways of digestion and metabolism.
Due to constant increase in price of feed ingredients , cheaper and nonconventional Feed ingredients have to be used which contain higher percentage of Non Starch Polysaccharides, which are not well digested by poultry.
Use of Enzymes such as LEXZYME break down the NSP’s and eventually improve the digestibility of nutrients.
